Maui Shopping
- Shops at Wailea 3750 Wailea Alanui
- This is your upscale shopping from Tiffanys, Gucci, Channel, St. Johns, Tommy Bahama’s, Cashe, and lots more. There are also some really fun boutiques and galleries as well as the ABC Store and Whaler’s General Store. The Shops at Wailea offers restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream and occasional entertainment.
- Open Market Behind Gateway on Hukulii Place
- The days it is open varies, but it is worth checking out. The Open Market offers everything from souvenirs to fresh fruit and leis.
- Front Street / Lahaina Cannery Mall Lahaina, Maui
- Front Street is shop after shop, from art galleries to totally Hawaiian gifts, there are way too many shops to list. The cruise ships come in a couple of times a week, then it gets a bit crowded for me. You can park at one end and enjoy lunch at the other end, then start back again. You should hit Front Street at least once while on island.
- Whalers Village in Ka’anapali (a bit past Lahaina)
- This is a beachside shopping center with lots of designer names and prices, a bit like Shops at Wailea. Whalers Village offers a large variety of shops and galleries as well as places to eat, and you can walk right out to the beach.
- Costco 540 Hakeakala Highway, Kahului
- Costco is just minutes from the airport. I always get my car and then make the Costco stop for great fresh fish, wine, and whatever else I think I may consume a lot of. The prices are the same as they are in the states, so it is quite a bargain. If going to Hana or Pa’ia, it is also on the way.
- Safeway In Kihei and Lahaina
- Be sure to get the Safeway card for big savings, it is worth the time.
