Sun Valley

The Sun Valley Idaho area is a four season paradise. The winter months offer skiers the option of downhill and Nordic skiing, as well as backcountry ski adventures and heli-skiing in the Sawtooth Mountains. For non-skiers, or those who just need a break from the slopes, Sun Valley offers sleigh rides, snowshoeing, back country snowmobiling and ice skating.

In Sun Valley you can ice skate year round at the Sun Valley Ice Rink. Here you can watch Olympic skaters practice, take in an ice show, or just have fun skating.

Summer activities in the Sun Valley area include golf, fishing, mountain hiking, whitewater rafting and backpacking.

The area is home to museums highlighting local history, as well as the Sawtooth Botanical Gardens. Spend your days shopping or taking in one of Sun Valley’s unique festivals, and make sure to find time to relax in one of the nearby natural hot springs.
